Who We Are We are a cultural education organization that has tasked ourselves to share (in English) with others the wonder and diversity of Chinese history and culture.
We are a privately owned and self-sustained organization. We use our innovative travel (CCC Travel) and corporate products to fund our not-for-profit research and cultural education programs.
Most of all, we are a group of English-speaking cultural enthusiasts who want to introduce you to everything about this country, from Confucius to calligraphy, Genghis Khan to green tea, martial arts to feng shui. We are an organization for anyone looking for a way to explore China’s past, present and future.
Since culture is the embodiment of the history and customs of a nation, CCC strives to provide a window into Chinese society.
We were the first cultural organization to specifically cater for foreigners living in Beijing, and since 2000, CCC has become the most trusted travel and learning center, through which expatriates, as well as their visiting families and friends, experience the original China. In addition to a core group of expatriates who frequent our tours, lectures and classes to enrich their knowledge about China, more and more independent travelers and returning visitors are choosing the CCC to help them get under the surface of China.
What We Do: Cultural Classes, talks, courses and cultural events for expats and visitors, and education programs for schools.
Together with experts of their fields, CCC delivers insightful talks, seminars and workshops in good English, covering all aspects of Chinese traditions and culture. We also have hands-on classes, discussion forums, book clubs and movie screenings. Special gatherings are organized to mark various festivals. We are adding new programs and activities constantly and welcome suggestions on how we can expand our cultural offerings to better meet our customers' interests.
Special themed walks and tours We organize learning walks and tours to a variety of destinations, from the tea market to Taoist & Zen temples, from the herbal medicine museum to healing mountain retreats.
