History talk/old footage show tonight
A long-expected Chinese history talk/video show series will begin tonight (Wednesday, 7:30pm). The talk series will start from the beginning of the 20th century, which was the most eventful and chaotic period of history. View more below.
Two more Weekend Inner Mongolian Trip (view photos here)
Upon request of CCC members, another two inner Mongolian Trips will be arranged in July 29-31 and August 12-14). As the peak season is coming and the flight and train tickets (soft-sleepers) will be more and more difficult to acquire, please book the trips as early as possible.
Upcoming trips (July-August)
1. Weekend Inner Mongolia trips (July 1-3; 15-17; 29-31 and Aug. 12-14)
2. Day-trip: Ancient Town of Rooster Crows (July 10, Sun.)
3. Weekend Trip: Qingdao, Beach, historical buildings, and Mount. Laoshan. (July 2! 3-24)
4. 4-day Trip to South Water Towns: Hangzhou, Suzhou, Tongli and Zhouzhuang etc. (August 5-9)
5. 6-day Trip along the Silk Road (Dunhuang, Turpan, Urumqi, Kashgar, August 24-29) |

Saturday, July 9, 2:30pm | CCC will invite an excellent tailor to advise Westerners on how to get a perfect fit of Chinese clothes. The tailor will display examples of his styles made for some foreigners--men and women from winter outfits to summer linen/cotton collections. >>> more
