Talk: Dream of the Red Chamber (Wednesday, Sep. 7, 7:30pm) Wish to know the novel without spending a lot of time reading the whole thick volumes ? Come join our carefree talk on this most famous Chinese novel. The expert will talk about all western people should know about the native Chinese literature.
Back-Street-Beijing Walking Tour (Friday, Sep. 9, 9:30am) This will be a well-selected route touring the following places: Guangji Temple (headquarter of China Buddhism Association); Yuan-Dynasty White Dagopa temple (Mongolian style); Writer Lu Xun's Museum, and Graves of Matteo Ricci, a renowned Catholic Missionary.
Night tour of the Grand View Garden (Saturday, Sep. 10, 6pm) (lantern-lit boat and garden, and laser movie and performance on the water)
Weekend trip: XiĄŻan (Terracotta Warrior and Old porcelain town, etc.) (Sep. 10-11)
