Illustrated talk: Erotic fiction in Ming and Qing Dynasties

Dr. Li will explore erotic or even pornographic fiction of Ming & Qing Dynasties, and their social background, and explain why one of the most pornographic novels Jin Ping Mei could be regarded as one of the five Chinese classic novels together with Dreams of the Red Chamber and Journey to the West.
