CCC is going to select and screen a series of newly shot Chinese documentaries, directors will attend most of the events.

Talk: Qinghai-Tibetan Railway Construction

Mr. Li will share with us his 4 years of extensive research on its ecological impact, the building of wildlife crossing tunnels and the restoration of vegetation after earth excavation, since the start of the construction of the Qinghai- Tibet railway.

Thursday, Oct. 27
Day-trip: Cockcrow Post Town (Town of Roosters Crow)

This is a popular trip and the last trip of this year. Take the last chance to check the old town listed by World Monuments Fund (WMF) in the 2006 World Monuments Watch List of world 100 most endangered sites.

Beijing Amblers: Gingko, Odd Trees and Red Leaves

Gingko and dense forestry with species of odd trees, red leaves and a Zen Buddhism tea house are the charm of this Sunday tour to the Great Awakening Monastery and Jiufeng Natural Forest Park.
