Koan Abby - CCC Zen Society
* Join us each week for an evening of insight into the teachings and practices of Zen Buddhism. WeˇŻll be guided on our journey of self-discovery each week by a Buddhist layman with occasional visits by real Zen Buddhist monks. WeˇŻll learn about Zen through its music, its stories, its art, its rituals and its martial arts.
* Each week weˇŻll discuss how the principles of Zen can be applied to calm and enrich our own daily lives.
* In keeping with the meaning of Zen ¨Cˇ°learning through meditationˇ±- weˇŻll end each weekly meeting with a 40-45-minute meditation session. Our Buddhist guide will teach you the proper meditation techniques and our Zen environment of music, candles and incense will calm your mind and soothe your soul.
