Palace Museum Painting & Porcelain Exhibitions!
The Palace Museum in the Forbidden City is holding the second batch of the exhibits (July 15 - August 30), in the Hall of Wuying, the newly refurbished gallery housing painting and calligraphic masterpieces. The porcelain and ceramic wares are exhibited in Wenhua Hall. CCC invites two Palace Museum researchers to be your guide.
Our first organized guided tour will be on Friday, July 25, 13:30-16:00 (painting) & Tuesday, July 29, 13:30-16:00 (porcelain). The tours will be repeated in August (time is TBA).
Back-Street-Beijing Walking Tours CCC resumes and rediscovers quite many walking routes in old Beijing after the city's "reconstruction" for Olympics. These tours, organized once a week from late July to August, covers most significant yet neglected areas of the capital. Check our calendar for details.
