What are your New Year Resolutions?
As always, the first part of the New Year is a time for taking of stock, reviewing what you achieved last year and thinking about what you want to achieve this year.
The CCC can help with some New Year resolutions you can actually keep!

  • Classes & Lectures
Resolution 1: Be healthier - Look after your mind, body and soul with hands-on classes and lectures in everything from Foot Reflexology, Body Massage and Zen Meditation to our Chinese Nourishing Soup Cookery Class.

First two Meandering mandarin workshops are:

  • Beijing Tours
Resolution 3: Get to know Beijing better - Fed up of doing the same old thing each weekend. Then get you and your partner/family out and about and make the most of the fantastic city you live it.

Our Backstreet Walking Tours are a great way to experience those parts of the city you might not usually visit. Coming up, we'll be visiting Fahuasi & Ciqikou (Saturday afternoon & repeat on Tuesday morning). We will explore the interesting hutongs and neighborhood north and east of Temple of Heaven, including Chongwen Cathedral, Fahua Temple, an alley market and more.

Also, our tour to the Farmers Wholesale Market and Flower Market is a great family day out. We'll explore one of the largest wholesale market south of Beijing, which serves as transaction hub for vegetables and meat, with suppliers from all over China. Then we will head to a huge flower & plants wholesale market south of Beijing to see another bustling scene preparing for the peak at the arrival of the Chinese New Year.

  • Out of Beijing Tours
See more of China - There is no better time to see the real China than at Chinese New Year. This Chinese New Year we have two different trips to Yunnan.

There is our 6 day Xishaungbanna and Lijiang tour which will take you from the Ancient Town of Lijiang and the Tiger Leaping Gorge in the north to the lush tropical beauty of Xishuangbanna in the South, on the border of Myanmar, where you will find a variety of ethnic villages.

Or, there is our 4 day tour to Yunnan's Yuanyang (Hani Rice Terrace) & Jianshui. This relatively inaccessible sub-tropical, part of Yunnan has escaped heavy tourist development for tourism, and has such has so far been overlooked by many leading travel guide books and tour operators.
